Cindy has always enjoyed sharing knowledge since her first tutoring job in her high school years. She completed her undergraduate training in Science at the University of British Columbia and went on to study in a Master’s program named Mind, Brain and Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. During her graduate years, she examined how early life experiences such as bilingualism and significant adversities can impact brain development in the long run. She is passionate about translating current Neuroscience research into practice within the classroom. Cindy likes to explore different approaches in her tutoring and finding ways that works best for each student. Her favourite subjects to teach include Math, Sciences and the Humanities. When she is not tutoring, she enjoys hiking, yoga and spending time with her 4-year- old son.
