Donna’s excitement for lifelong learning and mentoring students stems largely from her academic/community work with vulnerable populations. She has made her way to BrainBoost following years of knowledge-sharing in the humanities, intercultural diversity, human rights, and Aboriginal health and education. Donna’s twenty-plus years of experience includes supporting community members in health agencies and neighborhood houses, students with special needs in schools, and students in universities. When shifting her gaze from mentorships, she can be found strolling with her husband through bustling Vancouver shops or along the quieter sidewalks of Kerrisdale, and sipping on a latté while indulging her sweet-tooth cravings.
