Mark is from the verdant Okanagan, a region of our province that churns out delicious fruit and clever brains. He initially moved to Vancouver to pursue his university education at the University of British Columbia, but he later found that Vancouver is where he belongs- so he stayed and called Vancouver his new home. Mark has been tutoring since he was in high school as he enjoys interacting with students and he wants to learn more about how they think. He believes that when teachers listen to their students’ perspectives, the learning goes both ways. In his spare time, Mark enjoys reading, listening to music and volunteering. A fun fact about Mark is that he has two first names and if you are curious to know, feel free to ask him whenever you bump into him at BrainBoost.
